Emma attended Anglia University where she obtained her Law Degree, following which she moved back to her home town of Nottingham to study for the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.

She joined Barratts in October 2001 as a member of the team of support staff. After completing the Legal Practice Course Emma trained with Barratts and qualified as a solicitor in January 2005.

Emma specialises in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She has experience of a wide variety of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, public liability, employers liability and the COPD/VWF Mining claims.

Emma has conducted a number of clinical negligence cases involving misdiagnosis, has acted on behalf of clients involved in the Organ Retention claims and is involved with high value Cerebral Palsy cases. She has recently provided pro bono work to AvMA as a volunteer on their helpline.
