Brian & Enid's Story
Brian and Enid were on holiday in Canada visiting relatives when they were involved in a collision with a drunk pick-up driver. They both suffered very severe psychological trauma; Enid suffered injuries to her back and wrist, and Brian sustained a nasty leg injury. They attended hospital in Canada and were then airlifted back to the UK.
They instructed us to bring a claim against the drunk driver. We instructed a Canadian legal colleague to undertake all the necessary investigations and bring a claim on their behalf in respect of their injuries and their financial losses, including the curtailment of their holiday. Given that Brian and Enid had now returned to England we arranged for them to see local medical and rehabilitation specialists whose reports were forwarded to our Canadian Agent and used to persuade the other driver’s insurance company to settle their claims in full.
